Yves Noyau

How out of the blue, he got the assignment to interpret trough a series of 100 paintings the oeuvre of an obscure French filmmaker. So he wonders:Does this make any sense? Definitely not. Which is why he complied with enthusiasm.


Yves Nussbaum, working under the pseudonym Noyau, was born in Neuchâtel, Switzerland in 1963. He lives and works in Zurich as a freelance illustrator, comics artist. Since 2003, he teaches at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Art. He regularly features his work in SonntagsZeitung, NZZ am Sonntag, Das Magazin and DU and has published numerous books.
