Born in 1941, Benno Zehnder is a painter, collagist, teacher and writer. He studies at the Schule für Gestaltung in Lucerne from 1960 to 1965. He was head of postgraduate graphics at Birmingham Polytechnic, then later of the visual communications department at Bath Academy of Art. Zehnder regularly exhibited in Switzerland, France, Austria and the UK. He also carried out commissions, notably “colour concepts” for hospitals and other public building in Switzerland.
