Comic artists and graphic novelists work with the notion that drawing is thinking, an expansion of language where the image completes the words. Drawing gives form to our thoughts and shapes the way we think. The symposium asks renowned artists how they teach, to share their experiences and adventures in teaching, encounters with students, children, refugees, people in institutions – and why conventional drawing courses regularly fail.
