Biography

Joost Swarte is a Dutch graphic designer and artist born in 1947. He is best known for his “clear line style” of drawing – in fact, he even coined the term “ligne claire” in reference to the style pioneered by Hergé. He has published extensively in magazines and has won numerous awards.
